"Partnering with The Styled Studio—helmed by the remarkably talented Kate Preftakes of Kate Preftakes Photography and Sorrell Downing of Events by Sorrell—was a transformational moment for Mayfair Farm.
Like many rural venues, we were up against a challenge: we knew our property had incredible potential, but we weren’t reaching the kind of clients who truly value the natural beauty and character we offer. Kate and Sorrell came in with fresh eyes, a strong creative vision, and an open, collaborative approach that completely reimagined how our venue could be seen and experienced.
They orchestrated a series of styled shoots on the farm that brought together an inspiring team of creatives—florists, designers, models, and more—to tell a story that felt both elevated and deeply authentic. From stunning ceremony setups and cozy reception tablescapes to flat lays and editorial-style portraits, every detail was thoughtfully planned and beautifully captured.
They even found creative ways to incorporate mini shoots during some of our community events, giving us a library of rich, on-brand imagery that truly reflects the heart and soul of Mayfair Farm.
